3-D Shape Castles

Thanks to everyone that sent in items for our 3D Shape Castles!  We had quite a variety of cylinders, spheres, cones, cubes, and prisms to choose from! Students worked in pairs to create their castles. While working, students used their knowledge of shape attributes to build their castles.   This was a great culminating activity on our study of Solid Shapes, and the students not only had fun, but they learned a lot as well!! These castles are proudly on display in our hallway, if you have a chance, stop by to see!!
